About Me

Hi, I’m Nicola and I’m based in the Dalhousie Wellness Hub, in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian.

As an expert massage therapist, it’s my mission to reduce your aches and pains, help you to relax, maintain your body and improve your wellbeing.

I’m fascinated by the human body and how it works, which is why I have a Master’s degree in Biomedical Science. I’m continually updating my learning and knowledge as I’m passionate about helping others and making them feel better. I love using massage to identify and treat the main areas of concern for each individual, tailoring specific treatments to heal.

After a treatment with me you can expect to experience some or all of the following benefits:

  • Reduced pain
  • Reduced muscle tension
  • Increased flexibility and mobility
  • Increased feelings of wellbeing
  • Feeling relaxed, restored and revived

I started my career in the NHS as a Biomedical Scientist, supporting medical staff while they treat patients. My thirst for knowledge and enthusiasm for learning led me to progress from a Trainee to an Advanced Biomedical Scientist, completing additional qualifications along the way.

I loved my job but it always felt like there was something missing. Whilst having a massage for tight shoulders I had a light bulb moment! I’ve always found that massage relieves my aches and pains and helps to restore balance in my mind and body. So, it was during this treatment that I suddenly realised I wanted to take my desire to help people in a new direction. Since then I have undergone many training courses and attended workshops (and continue to do so) including:
